General

We value your privacy. We will work with you to ensure your information remains confidential.  We will need to share information with third parties under certain circumstances. You will be informed in our agreement(s) regarding the particular releases.

Financial Transactions

We are committed to you. Our business relies on your trust. 

We do not sell customer information to third parties or share customer information with parties who may want to market their products to you. Your protection as our customer is important at every step in every transaction, every time. We protect your privacy every day.

We aim to protect the security and integrity of your information through procedures and technology designed for this purpose and is part of an ongoing process to improve your security using the latest and most up-to-date technology.

  • Partners and employees are restricted from viewing your personal information unless there is a business reason to have access to this data. 

  • The physical security of workplaces and records include, but is not limited to: a 24 hour guarded key-access building, key access requirements for floor access, industry standard lock doors and files. And our computer systems are all password protected. 

  • The gateway partner for PMTC, Authorize.net has the physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards meet or exceed federal standards regarding the protection of customer information.

  • Contractors and outside companies who work with us to adhere to strict privacy standards through their contracts with us. Certain contractors who do have access to our floor and offices are screened, certified and bonded by our building management.

 We may collect and maintain customer information as we attend to your needs.

The sources for this data collection can include, but is not limited to the following:

  • Information from applications or forms, you have completed either online or on paper.

  • We may seek input from outside companies, such as a business or consumer reporting agencies, references, and other resources

  • Information about your previous history with PMTC

Information may be used for a number of purposes including: protection from unauthorized access or identity theft; to process your purchases, and subscriptions; to issue checks, reimbursements, and send consultation account statements, to keep you, our client, informed of new material, content, events or opportunities.

We may disclose the information collected to nonaffiliated third parties acting for us, or as permitted by law, including:

  • Data processors, technical systems consultants and programmers, or check printers.

  • In compliance with subpoenas from government entities, courts or other entities 

  • To those you request us to share information with on your behalf.

  • We may report account information to credit bureaus and/or consumer reporting agencies. Late payments, missed payments, or other defaults may adversely affect your credit report and/or consumer report.

 Healthcare: 

Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act’s or the HIPAA Privacy Rule is a Federal rule that oversees how an individual’s identifiable health information is protected or used. You are not our patient and we are not your healthcare provider. However, to ensure that your potential rights to privacy are protected we do not share any potentially linked information. Your response to Voice of the Consumer Research requires either an email address or a mailing address to participate. You agree to provide that link to obtain your reward card. These data elements may be considered protected health information in a healthcare setting.

Protected Health Information is individually identifiable health information that includes demographic information sent or archived in any form or medium, such as electronic, written and verbal. We limit the identifier(s) to only those you provide for the purposes of the research. Our management team, their clerical support and our research doctoral scientists are the only individuals given access to the collected data. This ensures a minimum number of people given access and ensures you receive your reward for participation. YOU MAY OPT OUT AT ANY TIME BY SIMPLY PROVIDING AN ELECTRONIC OR WRITTEN REQUEST TO BE DROPPED AND WE WILL COMPLY WITH YOUR REQUEST. When your request is received and acknowledged your identifying information will be purged to the best of our capability.

Subpoenas and Court Orders are mandatory directives from a court or government body that we must respond to in a timely manner. We will verify through our legal counsel the subpoena prior to release to that entity.

Email is our current most commonly used method for communication with our respondents. Email addresses may be captured for reimbursement purposes or to offer the ability to perform new surveys. Respondents should understand the limitations in communicating by email. By entering into our survey instrument you are providing consent to correspond by email or conventional written mail. You will have a choice at the close of the survey.
